xbox 360 case mod questions?
i have a few questions and concerns about modding my case
1. i will be wiring 12 blue 5mm 6000mcd leds into my case, along with 4 in my hard drive, with proper resistors for each, and if i use an available 12v power source, will it overheat my xbox?
2. i will be cutting out the disc drive with a jigsaw and a blade rated for metal, will this work?( im drilling holes into it first so i can start it) and will i need to cover the cd drive after it has been cut with plastic to prevent anything while playing?
3. if i add plexi glass to the cutout side of my xbox, will it melt, and if i glue it with epoxy, will it be strong enough to hold there for a long time?
4. if i do any of these modifications, will i need to add an extra fan?
1. Upgrade your existing fans with a better fan, this will help with the chance of overheating, upgrading your fan is always useful anyway. Take a look at the fans at talismoon.com as they come with led’s build in to go with the led’s you would be putting in.
2. You do not need to use to cut the case remove the disk drive as far as I know, here are some guide

3. While cutting out part of the case and gluing plexi glass to it may be possible it would be much easier if probably more expensive to just buy a translucent case that would be pre-cut to fit the xbox 360.
4. As before upgrading the fans already included would be the best idea as I cannot tell where you would add an extra fan.
